Meditation 83 – We all have our own burdens to bare

Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say ‘Get up and walk’?” – Matthew 9:5

Jesus was demonstrating that out of sin comes illness and that if we eradicate sin we eradicate illness.

Each one of us came to this earth with a package. The content of the package you bring depends on the characteristics of the spirit. The package contents assist us in the task of remembering who we are and enabling us to wake up the spirit. The burden that we bear throughout our life is because of sin. What sin? Our greatest sin is forgetting who we are and not paying heed to the truth which is all around.

Once you find out who you are or awake the spirit and choose to live life through the window of love your sins are forgiven. You no longer carry your burden. You begin a new journey, one where developing the strength of the spirit makes the yoke of this world easy to carry and your burdens light.

‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’ – Matthew 11:2
