Meditation 9 – Giving power to your inner truth

Open your heart not your mind. Abandon your thoughts, focus on your inner breath, be inspired by nature, and be inspired by music or words. Detach your mind from the hustle and bustle of the world around you. Be silent and allow contact with the spirit. It is only in the spirit that true understanding of Gods word comes into play. Understanding of the truth comes at a point in time when you are so inspired that your heart feels like an open door. Your heart feels so wide that your chest feels it cannot contain it. You experience the word of God and word becomes living and active within you.

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair – every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of the wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who leave the straight paths to walk in dark way, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.
